Missing Ex-SJ Football Standout, Berkeley Native Last Seen In Daly City: Police
Police say Hadari Darden was last spotted on April 6 in Daly City.

BERKELEY, CA — The search continues for a former standout San Jose State football player and Berkeley resident who was last seen more than a week ago, according to authorities.
Hadari Darden, 28, left the area of Curtis and Gilman streets in Berkeley on Saturday, April 4, and never returned, according to the Berkeley Police Department.
Police say Darden's family reported him missing on Monday, April 6. That same day, he was spotted around 1:16 a.m. at the Skyline Plaza Shopping Center in Daly City and has not been seen since, police said.

Darden is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has black dreads, a beard and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded top, green pants, black athletic shoes, and carrying a green backpack, police said.
It's unclear why Darden left. The 28-year-old was a standout linebacker for San Jose State University. He redshirted for them in 2017 before breaking out in the following three seasons.

His profile on the San Jose Athletics page says Darden graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication studies in 2021. Outside of football, he enjoys bowling, according to his profile.
The Berkeley Police Department asks that anyone who knows about Darden's whereabouts contact local authorities or the agency at 510-981-5900.
