Pair, Both 15, Allegedly Rob Student On UC Berkeley Campus

BREAKING: The male victim was knocked to the ground in the Friday night incident, police said.

BERKELEY, CA – Two 15-year-old boys were arrested for allegedly robbing a University of California at Berkeley student on campus Friday evening, according to police.

Campus police received a report at 7:50 p.m. about the robbery that had just occurred in front of Morrison Hall.

A male student was approached by the two teens who knocked him to the ground, causing minor injuries, and took the cellphone from his hand, police said.

The suspects fled east toward Minor Hall and campus police soon afterward saw two teens near Stern Hall who matched the description of the suspects, according to police.

The juveniles allegedly admitted to robbing the victim and were arrested.
