Pedestrian Struck by Car in Berkeley, Seriously Injured
The collision occurred near the corner of Allston Way and San Pablo Avenue at 1:02 p.m., police said.

A vehicle collision seriously injured a pedestrian in Berkeley this afternoon, according to police. The vehicle struck a pedestrian and then an electrical box near the corner of Allston Way and San Pablo Avenue at 1:02 p.m., police said. The male pedestrian was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
