BERKELEY, CA — Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred a few blocks away from University of California, Berkeley on Friday night.
The attempted robbery occurred around 11:15 p.m. in the 2400 block of Channing Way, according to police.

On Thursday morning, a robbery also occurred near UC Berkeley. At least three suspects carrying an AR-15 type firearm stole a victim's wallet and phone in the 2400 block of Telegraph Avenue, according to police.
