Fire in Berkeley Declared Arson

Correction a previous version of this story mentioned a second fire in Berkekely. That fire was in December, not Tuesday, February 28^th as was incorrectly reported.

At four in the morning a fire broke out at a vacant mixed use commercial and residential building. The building is 833 Bancroft. There were no reported civilian or firefighter injuries.

The amount of damage is approximately $15,000 to the structure with minimal content loss. Fire crews discovered multiple areas with fire inside the building and have determined it was arson.
