With 30 years of professional experience and community action I have the skills we need to work toward a sustainable future. I have successfully managed multi-million dollar budgets and am prepared to address Berkeley's financial crisis. Serving on the boards of United Way, Aviva Center and Family Support Services of the Bay Area has made me responsive to the needs of our most vulnerable citizens. As a founding member of Berkeley Council Watch, I have attended every council meeting for the past two years. Also, I serve as the coordinator of Berkeley Budget SOS and on the board of the Claremont-Elmwood Neighborhood Association. I am keenly aware of the concerns and needs voiced by our community.
