BERKELEY, CA — It's always sad when you find out that a cherished restaurant or store from your childhood is no longer in business. Berkeley native and current Pinole resident Wendy Hess just found out that Spenger's Fish Grotto, which Wendy called an "Iconic Historic Restaurant," is closed.
