Sexual Assault Reported At UC Berkeley Dorm
University Police say the victim knew her attacker.
BERKELEY, CA — A woman was sexually assaulted in a UC Berkeley dorm early Sunday morning, between 1 and 4 a.m., University Police said on Wednesday. Police did not say if any arrests have been made, only that the victim knows the man who assaulted her.
If you have any information about the crime, call the University of California Police Department Criminal Investigation Bureau at (510) 642-0472 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or (510) 642-6760 at all other times.
UCPD reminded the campus community that 90 percent of sexual assault survivors on college campuses know their attacker, and that rape or sexual assault is never the fault of the victim.
