Spring Weeks Activities and Exhibits
Explore New Worlds
10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Discover the challenges of space exploration by getting hands-on with planetary rovers and other types of spacecrafts. Design and build custom prototypes and test them out on the new Design Quest table!
Meet the Aliens on Our Planet
1:30–4:00 p.m.
From creatures that can see in infrared to those that secrete poison through their skin, find inspiration in the other-worldly qualities of Earth’s animals. Then learn how these abilities help them survive, in our Animal Discovery Room.
Take a Journey to Space
Multiple shows daily, $4 after admission.
Join Patrick Stewart on a journey through the history of space travel. Discover how close we are to exploring deep space, and learn about our efforts to land a human on Mars in Journey to Space 3D.
Make Space Robots
11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Engage in fun ways to explore electricity and make space robots. Create both simple and complex circuits, then design, build, and test your inventions using motors, buzzers, light, and movable parts in the Ingenuity Lab.
Take a Tour of the Cosmos
Multiple shows daily, $4 after admission
How do astronomers measure stars and galaxies without ever going out into space? Learn how as you take an interactive, guided tour through the observable universe in the Planetarium show How Big Is the Universe?
