Man Hospitalized After Being Beaten, Robbed By Teens In Berkeley: Report

BERKELEY, CA — Three teens were arrested on suspicion of robbery after beating up a man and taking his property, according to a Berkeley Scanner report.
Police say a man in his 40s was in the area of University and San Pablo avenues around 7 p.m. when the three boys, whose ages ranged from 13 to 15, started attacking him, according to the report.
The attack left the man on the ground, where the teens stomped on him before taking his property and leaving, according to the report.

Officers responded to the scene and located the boys just a few blocks away, according to the report, which said the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
It's unclear what kind of injuries the man suffered during the attack. The boys' identities were not available due to their age.
