Grammy-Winning Pop Band To Play Postgame Show At Cal Football Game
The band will play after Cal takes on Wagner at California Memorial Stadium later this month, university officials said.
BERKELEY, CA — Grammy-winning pop band Train will enter Bear Territory later this month to perform at a Cal football game.
UC Berkeley officials said the Bay Area band will serve as the Golden Bears' special in-game engagement and postgame entertainment during the game against Wagner on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The game, which will take place during "Rooted in the Bay Day," a day that celebrates Bay Area community and culture, is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.

"Whether you're singing along to 'Save Me San Francisco' or cheering for a touchdown, you won't wanna miss a single thing we do," university officials said in a statement on Thursday.
Last month, Train released its 12th studio album, "Mad Dog in the Fog," on Aug. 28. It celebrated the new album with a free concert in San Francisco the day before.

"Creating this album with one another has been such a rewarding experience," Train said in a statement online. "This is for the Train fans who've been there since the beginning, for the Mad Dog in the Fog, for San Francisco, and ultimately, for you."
