Tremblers shook Berkeley twice in less than 24 hours, while another quake rippled through the wider East Bay: USGS

BERKELEY, CA — A set of tremblers shook Berkeley in less than 24 hours, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
A 1.7-magnitude quake hit Berkeley at about 6 p.m. Thursday. The second one, a 1.2-magnitude trembler, began at 3 a.m. today, according to the USGS.
Another earthquake shook the area two miles south of Walnut Creek at 12:46 a.m.
