Two Injured in Berkeley Shooting; Major Intersection Closed

Police have not indicated how long the intersection will be closed by their investigation.

Two 20-year-old men were injured in a shooting in Berkeley this morning, according to the Berkeley Police Department.

The first report of the incident at Ashby and Shattuck avenues came in at 1:44 a.m., a police dispatcher said. Both men were taken to a hospital, according to police.

Police have not said what the condition of the men is. Officers are at the intersection investigating the incident and gathering evidence, according to police.
