University Police Seek Rape Suspect
Police say the suspect was an acquaintance of the victim.

BERKELEY, CA - University of California at Berkeley campus police today are asking for help identifying a suspect in a sexual assault reported last week.
In an alert sent to campus residents today, police said that a report of a rape occurring on May 20 at about 2 a.m. at Unit 3 of the campus residence hall at 2400 Durant Ave. had been received on June 8.
The suspect, who police said was an acquaintance of the victim, is a 20-year-old man. Police described him as standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing roughly 190 pounds and having wavy, brown hair of a medium length.
