Woman Robbed At Berkeley ATM: Police
Witnesses say the robber is a white woman in her 50s.

BERKELEY, CA —A woman was robbed at an ATM machine in Berkeley on Monday morning by another woman who claimed she had a gun, police said.
The victim was using the ATM outside the Chase Bank at 2150 Shattuck Ave., near the Downtown Berkeley BART station, at about 10:10 am. on Monday when a suspect approached her, according to police.
Once the bills were dispensed from the ATM, the suspect told the woman that she had a gun and demanded that she give her the money, police said.

The robber then walked away with the cash, according to police.
The amount of cash that was taken wasn't disclosed.

Police said witnesses describe the suspect as a white woman who is 50 to 55 years old and about 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 5 inches tall with a heavy build.
She may have been wearing a maroon or burgundy jacket.
