25 Must-See Acts At Coachella That Aren't Headliners
Ariana Grande, Tame Impala and Childish Gambino are headlining, but there are plenty of great acts to see further down the line-up.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Ariana Grande, Tame Impala and Childish Gambino are headlining the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this year. But if you're not a huge fan of the "7 rings" singer – or maybe you're thinking "who the heck is Tame Impala?" – don't fret, there are plenty more great acts to see further down the line-up.
We've gathered 25 must-see acts at Coachella that aren't the huge names at the top of the poster, so break out your extra-strength reading glasses as we make our way down towards the smaller names at the bottom.

1. Alice Merton
Alice Merton is a German-Canadian-English singer and songwriter, whose hit "No Roots" nabbed a cool 175 million plays on YouTube. Catch her on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on April 10, right before the first weekend of Coachella.

2. Aphex Twin
Aphex Twin is a British musician who's been making ambient techno and intelligent dance music since the 90s. He won "Best Dance/Electronica Album" at the Grammy's in 2015.
3. Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish is an American teenager who quickly rose to fame with her 2016 single "Ocean Eyes." Apple Music named her its newest Up Next artist in September 2017, and her highly-anticipated debut album, "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?", was released at the end of March.

4. Clairo
Clairo is an American lo-fi artist whose song "Pretty Girl" went viral on YouTube. In 2018, she released her debut record on Fader Label.
5. Dennis Lloyd
Dennis Lloyd is an Israeli vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist. After he released his first single in 2015, he moved to Thailand for a year and wrote a whopping 35 songs.
6. Drax Project
Drax Project is a four piece New Zealand band that makes music that is a mix of jazz, R&B and pop. Their single "Woke Up Late" was certified platinum by Recorded Music New Zealand.

FKJ, also known as French Kiwi Juice, is a French multi-instrumentalist, singer and musician. FKJ has performed at multiple music festivals, and this isn't his first time at Coachella.
9. Four Tet
Four Tet, also known as Kieran Hebden, is a prolific musician, releasing his first album "Dialogue" in 1999. Hebden has remixed tracks by artists including , among others.
10. Hop Along
Hop Along is an indie rock band from Philadelphia signed to Saddle Creek Records. Their fourth studio album "Bark Your Head Off, Dog" came out last year.
11. Iceage
Iceage is a Danish punk rock band from Copenhagen. Their debut record was released in 2011, and their most recent album "Beyondless" was released last year.
12. Jain
French singer-songwriter Jain is currently on tour for her second album "Souldier," which released in 2018 through RCA Records. Coachella marks her first U.S. appearance in 2019.
13. Jon Hopkins
Jon Hopkins is an English electronic music musician and producer who began his career playing keyboard for Imogen Heap. He's also produced or contributed to albums by Brian Eno, Coldplay and more.
14. JPEGMAFIA
JPEGMAFIA, known as Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks, is a rapper and record producer from Maryland. His highly-praised 2018 album "Veteran" was released through Deathbomb Arc.
15. Kasey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves is an American singer and songwriter with plenty of awards including: six Awards and an Academy of Country Music Award. She most recently won "Album of the Year" at the Grammys for her album "Golden Hour."
16. Kero Kero Bonito
Kero Kero Bonito is an indie pop band that hails from London, England. They released their second studio album "Time n Place" last year, but my personal favorite Kero Kero Bonito songs are singles they released from 2014-2015. Their music is influenced by J-Pop.
17. Let's Eat Grandma
Let's Eat Grandma is a British pop duo formed by childhood friends Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth. Their second studio album "I'm All Ears" came out last year and was well-received. Their Coachella performance will be extra special, however, because the duo cancelled their U.S. tour after Hollingworth announced her boyfriend had died. Let’s Eat Grandma will still perform their two Coachella shows “as a tribute to Billy and his memory,” she wrote on Twitter.
18. Mac Demarco
Need some time away from the non-stop action? Sit down and enjoy Mac Demarco, a Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. His is slacker rock songs are quirky and charming, if just a tad lackadaisical.
19. Masego
Masego is a saxophone player, singer, rapper and DJ who puts his own spin on R&B, hip hop and the like. His debut album "Lady Lady" came out last year.
20. Sabrina Claudio
Sabrina Claudio is a Cuban-American singer-songwriter whose single "Belong to You" peaked at number two on the Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists chart. Her debut studio album "No Rain, No Flowers" was released last August.

U.S. Girls is the experimental pop project of musician and record producer Meghan Remy. U.S. Girls' latest release was "In a Poem Unlimited," which came out last year.
25. Yves Tumor
Yves Tumor, known as Sean Bowie, is an experimental electronic producer born in Florida but living in Italy. His fourth studio album, "Safe in the Hands of Love," was released last year.
