Actress Hillary Duff's Home Burglarized While She Was On Vacation

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — While away on vacation, Actress Hillary Duff's home was burglarized. A representative for Duff said that the burglary at the star's Beverly Hills home was "a scary and upsetting situation," according to CBS.

Duff was on vacation in Canada with her son, Los Angeles Police confirmed with ABC7, and a representative for Duff said she was thankful that neither family nor staff were hurt.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry was stolen from Duff’s residence, TMZ reported. Thieves allegedly broke through the door and gained access to the jewelry, but the property’s security alarm never sounded after the break-in, according to reports cited by Canyon News.
