Beverly Hills Police Respond To Fight, Find Fatally Wounded Man

Police said the incident is believed to have been isolated and no one else was involved.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A fight in a Beverly Hills alley left one man dead and another injured, police said Monday.

Officers responded about 11:40 p.m. Sunday to a report of a fight in an alley in the 400 block of North Palm Drive, south of Beverly Boulevard, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

Officers found a man suffering from a neck wound and rendered aid before he was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

The other man, a Beverly Hills resident, was also injured and taken by Beverly Hills Fire Department paramedics to a hospital for treatment and evaluation.

Police said the incident is believed to have been isolated and no one else was involved.

"Our officers responded quickly to this incident and immediately rendered aid to both individuals," said Beverly Hills Chief of Police Max Subin. "Our detectives are conducting a thorough and diligent investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident."
