BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Two Beverly Hills restaurants have been named among the area's best in the Los Angeles Times' 2026 list of the 101 best restaurants in Los Angeles.
The newspaper's two restaurant critics spent months dining at hundreds of restaurants across Los Angeles and Orange counties before narrowing their selections to 101. This year's list includes 31 new additions, along with several returning favorites, according to the Times.
Below find the two Beverly Hills restaurants included in the Times' list, along with descriptions from the newspaper:
"Renato Araujo and Cynthia Raslan are delivering L.A.'s most sought-after sandwiches in a Beverly Hills space no bigger than my college dorm room. These are monstrous works of art, fashioned from layers of cured meat and cutlets on crackly squares of puffy schiacciata bread. Each one is clamorous with flavors, spread with Parmigiano pâté, topped with house-made giardiniera, slathered with basil almond pesto or white onion agrodolce, or drizzled with chimichurri."
"Evan Funke is the undisputed master of pasta in Los Angeles, fueled by an earnest appreciation for preserving Italian traditions. From the pasta laboratory at his Beverly Hills restaurant, Funke and his team hand-shape winding strands of busiate and concave discs of orecchiette. The cooking stays loyal to Italy, though occasional peak-season ingredients sneak their way onto the menu."
