Beverly Hills Appoints Stephanie Harris As Community Services Director
Harris has worked for the city for over a decade and has been the department's interim director since January.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The city's new Director of Community Services is Stephanie Harris, who had been filling the role on an interim basis since January, City Manager Nancy Hunt-Coffey announced Wednesday.
Harris was appointed to the job following the departure of former director Jenny Rogers, who has retired from public service, according to a release from the city.
“I am thrilled to welcome Stephanie to her new role,” Hunt-Coffey said in the release. “With a deep knowledge of the department and Beverly Hills community, I know she will excel in this position and lead her incredible team with pride and a vision for the future.”

The community services director oversees human services, the library, arts and parks in the city.
“I am thankful for the trust Nancy and the City Council have placed in me,” Harris said. “With the work of the extraordinary staff in community services, our programs and community events will continue to provide an exceptional quality of life for those who live, work and visit our incredible City.”

Harris has worked for Beverly Hills for almost a decade in various roles in the Community Services Department and city manager's office. She previously worked for Rosemead's Parks and Recreation Department for 11 years.
She has a masters in public administration from California State University, Northridge.
