Beverly Hills Closing Parks Temporarily Amid Coronavirus Fears

Anticipating a busy Mother's Day, Beverly Hills has closed down its parks from Saturday at 6 p.m. through Monday at 9 a.m.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — In anticipation of a busy Mother’s Day days after several city businesses are reopening, the City of Beverly Hills has announced the temporary closure of all city parks from Saturday, May 9 at 6 p.m. through Monday, May 11 at 6 a.m. to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

The order applies to all parks, including Coldwater Canyon, Beverly Cañon Gardens, La Cienega, Will Rogers, and the Community Dog Park. The fields, sports courts, and other recreational facilities will be closed, but park restrooms will be open.
