Community members are encouraged to bring donations to the Beverly Hills Farmers' Market on Oct. 23 in recognition of civility month.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills community members are invited to join the City in celebrating October's Civility Month to recognize the importance of promoting positive human relations.
The Human Relations Commission announced it will hold a Day of Giving during the Beverly Hills Farmer's Market on Sunday, Oct. 23 where the community can bring donations of non-perishable food, canned goods, toiletries, towels, blankets, dog toys and gently used jackets to support people and animals in need.
“While our Commission encourages its community members to always act in a civil and kind
manner, we take the opportunity to highlight its importance and spread the message of civility
throughout the entire month with social media challenges,” said Noelle Freeman, Chair of the
Human Relations Commission.
