Beverly Hills Girls Hoops Wins
The Normans beat Culver City 45-37 in their last game of the season.
Even though the team wasn't playing for a postseason berth, Beverly Hills High girls basketball still brought its "A" game to the court in a win over rival Culver City.
The Normans (14-14 overall, 5-5 league) grabbed an early lead Thursday night and withstood every Centaurs challenge to win 45-37, avenging a earlier in the season and putting their record at .500. Beverly Hills won four of its final six regular season games.
Point guard Natalie Moy was aggressive at both ends of the court, feeding Chelsea Austin in the post and putting back rebounds. Austin led the Normans with 12 points. Brittany Pourmorady contributed 11 points, all in the second quarter.

Culver City (14-13, 6-4) finished third place in the league behind Inglewood and Santa Monica.
