Topless Photos, Medical Info Among Patient Data Exposed In Plastic Surgeon's Data Breach

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Patients' topless photos, financial information and medical records are among the data exposed in a breach at a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon's office, according to a report from NBC 4.

The breach of Dr. Gary Motykie's patents' information stems from an extortion threat made against the doctor in May. The suspects demanded the doctor pay $2.5 million to prevent the data from going public, according to the TV station.

One of the 70 patients whose data has been exposed so far has sued the doctor, alleging that the breached data also includes videos of Motykie masturbating, according to NBC 4.
