Beverly Hills Police Department Promotes 2 New Sergeants
Both sergeants hold a degree in Criminal Justice.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA – The Beverly Hills Police Department recently announced the promotions of two new sergeants, which were celebrated at the Department's recent promotional ceremony on Oct. 16.
Andrew Myers was promoted to Sergeant on July 22. Sergeant Myers started his career with BHPD in 2002 after transferring from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department where he served three years as a deputy sheriff, according to the BHPD press release. Sergeant Myers holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Billy Fair was promoted to Sergeant on Oct. 14. Sergeant Fair started his career with BHPD in 2013 after transferring from the Costa Mesa Police Department where he served ten years as a police officer, according to the BHPD press release. Sergeant Fair holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies.
