Brush Fire Damages Home Under Construction In Beverly Hills

Some trees were also damaged in the fire that burned on Trousdale Place. The fire was put out in eight minutes, according to officials.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – A brush fire broke out in Beverly Hills Monday evening, igniting some trees and damaging the exterior of a home under construction, but no one was injured and the damage wasn't extensive.

The fire was reported about 5:35 p.m. at 460 Trousdale Place, near Loma Vista Drive, according to the Beverly Hills Fire Department. About 30 firefighters responded and extinguished the blaze in about eight minutes, according to Beverly Hills Fire Department Battalion Chief Mike Hand.

Some units from the Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to the scene, Hand said.

The fire started in some brush and ran up some pine trees and extended into the eaves on the home's exterior, but the flames were kept from entering the interior of the structure, Hand said.

The damage to the home was not extensive, Hand said.
