Burglars Tried To Break Into Watch-Store Display Case With Screwdriver: BHPD

Two people were arrested for trying to break into a display case at the high-end watch store Gearys on Saturday, according to police.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Two people were arrested on a charge of attempted commercial burglary after they were caught trying to use a screwdriver to break into a display case at a high-end watch retailer Saturday, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.

Officers responded to Gearys at 351 N. Beverly Drive at around 3 p.m., where they detained two people who matched the description of the people involved in the attempted burglary and who were attempting to flee the area, according to police.

Police did not release the names of the suspects.
