Celeb Hotspot Leaving LA For Atlanta, Honolulu And More: Report
A new landlord, paired with the high cost to do business locally, is the cause of the restaurant's exodus, Page Six Hollywood reported.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Celebrity hotspot Crustacean is going cold in Beverly Hills, with the restaurant closing at the end of October amid plans to open locations in other states, Page Six Hollywood reported.
The restaurant, which has drawn big names such as Barbra Streisand and Samuel L. Jackson, is leaving the Los Angeles area due to a new landlord paired with the high cost to do business locally, according to the outlet. Crustacean is moving to Atlanta, Sun Valley and Honolulu, Page Six Hollywood reported, noting its San Francisco eatery is still open.
For those in Southern California who are not ready to say goodbye, a Crustacean pop-up is planned for late November at AnQi Bistro in Costa Mesa, the outlet reported.
