Christmas On Rodeo Drive: A Glamorous Beverly Hills Holiday

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills will soon be dripping in larger-than-life holiday decorations.

The city will kick-off its long holiday season with a holiday lighting celebration on Nov. 18, but the celebrations will continue around the clock until the new year.

The holiday lighting will be an extravagant night for residents to celebrate together once again, after the pandemic made the holidays isolating last year. The evening, which will run from 5-8 p.m., will feature performances from the Love Actually live cast, an all female a cappella group and an America's Got Talent-winning acrobatic chihuahua, according to a news release from the city.

From 7-8 p.m. fireworks will greet Santa into the city, as he will hopefully be making a grand entrance. Take your chance to say hello to Mayor Bob Wunderlich, who will light the streets with other council members at the end of the night.

“We need to be together again and celebrate with each other. The holidays are the perfect time to share our gratitude for those who have got us through challenging times, and thanks to our Holiday Helpers everyone will be welcomed to a sparkling evening of outdoor entertainment and be among the first to see our holiday lights," said Kathy Gohari, president of the Rodeo Drive Committee.

The decorations will be extravagant, including massive piles of gifts on Santa Monica Boulevard and a luxury car holiday display, the city said.
