“Beverly Hills has always placed a high priority on parks, recreation and community services,” said Steven Zoet, Beverly Hills Director of Community Services. “Roxbury Memorial Park is a special part of our City’s rich history and an important place for learning, recreation and relaxation. These improvements will bring the playground up to a higher standard that is deserving of one of our most beloved community parks.”

Starting next month, Roxbury Park’s playground equipment will be removed and donated to Kids Around the World, a non-profit organization providing play equipment to children in underprivileged areas around the world. The equipment is scheduled to be given to villages in Ecuador and the Philippines.
