Dance Music Star Kiki Kyte Releases Single, 'Disco Chick'
Kiki Kyte is a dance music star who made a big name touring with the top singers. Now she steps out on her own with new single 'Disco Chick'

LOS ANGELES -- In the style of some of the greats, yet adding her own modern twist, Kiki Kyte bursts on the scene with a new single, "Disco Chick," a top-of-chart disco hit, already cutting a swath in Europe.
Kiki has been mentored by and toured with some of the best musicians from around the world, and with "Disco Chick," she brings her exuberance and youthful style to create her own "new disco" genre.
Kiki is no newbie to the music scene. She's had the training that comes with singing in the church choir, she's backed up the likes of Evelyn Champagne King and toured with Chaka Khan, The Mary Jane Girls and Klymaxx. With "Disco Chick" it's Kiki's turn to step out into the spotlight.

"I'm a Free-Spirit," says Kiki. "I'm an Aquarius, I'm funky, I hate rules and routines, I get bored fast and I'm a Drummer Girl so I like to roll and bounce to my own beat. I've always been a fan of the disco genre and with 'Disco Chick,' I want to take people into new day Studio54."
Kiki is working with Grammy Award-winning producers for an upcoming EP and is set to do shows and festivals. She's teamed with the Cool Million production team and is signed to the Sedsoul label in Germany and in Europe, where "Disco Chick" is getting lots of love.

"It's all like a wonderful dream," Kiki says. "That's what dancing is supposed to be. Being on the dance floor and laughing and having a wonderful time is what everyone dreams about and I wanted to capture that feeling. My song is about freedom and love and carefree times. 'Disco Chick' is my way of telling people to lighten up, have fun and feel the love."
Kiki's voice came through loud and clear last year when she was featured in the light-hearted roller-disco-glittery video "Good Time," from the single of the same name. It was almost immediately a dance hit.
Living in Los Angeles, Kiki is a far ways from her southern roots. She got her training coming up singing gospel in the church since the time she was only five years old.
"I want to bring back the disco sound but give it a modern, alternative twist," Kiki said. "Music goes through trends and I know the trend is to get dancing. My music gives people that freedom."
