About Dr. Garo Kassabian
Garo Kassabian, MD, FACS is an internationally-renowned, Board Certified Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeon. He is the founder and medical director of the Lift MD Aesthetics® medical spa and surgery center in Beverly Hills, California.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Garo Kassabian completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California where he obtained a BS in Biological Sciences. Dr. Kassabian then earned his doctorate from the USC School of Medicine. Focused on General Surgery, he completed six years postgraduate training at LAC+USC. Specializing in Cosmetic Facial Surgery, he finalized his nine years of formal training beyond medical school at the Bruce Connell Aesthetic Surgery Institute.
Dr. Kassabian’s additional training includes a Plastic Surgery Research Fellowship at the USC School of Medicine; a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University; a Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery at the world-renowned Baker, Stuzin & Baker Institute in Miami, Florida; a subspecialty Fellowship in Face/Breast/Body Sculpturing with Dr. Lloyd Hale; and training in laser and hair transplantation with Dr. Bruce Rusell.
Ranked internationally among the top aesthetic plastic surgeons, Dr. Kassabian’s training and expertise is extensive. He is dual board certified in plastic and general surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Kassabian is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Kassabian specializes in creating and achieving natural results for his clients and patients. Some of his specialties at Lift MD Aesthetics® include facial rejuvenation and body sculpting. Dr. Kassabian has also developed several signature procedures, both surgical and nonsurgical. Scarless Facelift and Invisible Bra Lift are two of his signature surgical procedures. His signature nonsurgical procedures include The Game Changer Jawline Recontouring and EyeBright. Dr. Kassabian has also developed an original IV Vitamin Therapy treatment. Additionally, Dr. Kassabian works with patients who have suffered from botched cosmetic surgery procedures and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures to correct with his innovative approach.

Dr. Kassabian is very active in the field of cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery outside of his practice. He is a medical researcher, recognized author, speaker and lecturer. He attends conferences and conducts lectures both nationally and internationally. These conferences allow Dr. Kassabian to teach fellow surgeons about the latest technology and newest, cutting edge procedures.
The doctor has been featured on the television show Doctor Lift, along with appearing on the first season of NIP/TUCK. Additionally, he appears as a regular expert for Aesthetic TV, CBS and CNBC.
