On Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., The Friends of Greystone annual “Members Only” event, held in conjunction with the Dedication Ceremony at Doheny Greystone Estate, proved to be a memorable occasion. City of Beverly Hills Mayor Julian Gold, MD, unveiled the Official Dedication Plaque recognizing Doheny Greystone Estate as Beverly Hills’ Historic Landmark #4. The Friends of Greystone Board of Directors, City Council members and Recreation and Parks Commissioners, officially accepted the bronze plaque, which will be permanently installed at the Estate.

Susan Rosen, President of the Friends of Greystone Board of Directors, accepted a Certificate of Congressional Recognition that was presented by Joey Apodaca on behalf of Congressman Ted Lieu. Acknowledging the Friends of Greystone’s contributions in restoring, preserving and protecting Doheny Greystone Estate, this definitely was an exciting honor to receive.

It was a lovely event attended by over 200 guests comprised of members, donors, Doheny family members and City of Beverly Hills dignitaries. Wolfgang Puck Catering and WinePlus generously provided the delicious hors d’oeuvres and wine.
