Doris Bergman-Heatin' up Hollywood

Bergman's Sixth Annual Emmy Style Lounge & Party

It wasn’t just a rise in temperature that heated up Bergman’s Sixth Annual Emmy Style Lounge & Party at West Hollywood’s Fig and Olive restaurant. The day was ablaze with alluring fashion, jewelry, accessories and tempting beverages that made this flaming city even hotter.

Galina Sobolev showed off her sexy line Single, featuring silk chiffon dresses and printed blouses designed from original artwork. We should all thank her grandmother for igniting her passion for fashion (and teaching her how to sew and crochet) at such an early age in Russia. It’s easy to understand why her career as a sought-after designer exploded quickly, not long after her move to the States. She earned numerous awards for her designs, garnered national attention as a model for Michael Kors, and was flooded with followers as a celebrity fashion designer finalist on Bravo’s hit show, “Launch My Line.”

Art Lewin Bespoke, one of the leading custom clothiers in the U.S., featured luxurious Italian ties at Bergman’s Emmy Style lounge. The LA-based company (with stores in San Francisco and Scottsdale) is opening an online store this month, so fashion-conscious folks can be perfectly attired for any occasion no matter where they live. And if you’re looking for lifestyle coaching or image consulting with Lewin, you won’t need to be a Hollywood celebrity to get in on the goods.

Radar Watches brought their interchangeable watch bands so guests could create their own color combination for their wrist. Mix and match is their motto… so you have the perfect accessory at all times!

Personal Touch Lingerie brought products from their boob-wear line, including NuBra, their backless/strapless silicone bra cups. The self-adhesive, washable cups come in an assortment of colors including pick, blue, and even green, to assure your boobs are in good hands. NuBra even features a travel case, so your cups remain perky throughout your flight.

Pursecase sparked excitement with their fashionable protected smart phone clutches. Small but extremely functional, the case comes complete with pockets and a sleek handle. Not enough storage to carry your pink NuBra cups, but enough space for credit cards, a mirror and a little somethin’ extra you pick up along the way.

Never underestimate the power of a mist! Model in a Bottle makeup setting spray might not look like much, but the powerful little bottle will keep you looking beautiful all day long. Their newest sensitive skin formula, infused with hydro-essential oils of lavender and aloe vera, adds moisture and helps control inflammation for the most sensitive skin types. So no matter how delicate your skin is… it will keep your makeup (and smile) in place.

Hair care woes can finally be put to rest. Color Wow has a complete line of color security shampoos and conditioners as well as a Pop & Lock UV protective glosser for gals on the go. They also have a popular root cover-up line, which representatives demonstrated to guests eager to hide their alleged grey hairs.

Sue Wong’s fiery and romantic dress collection graced the lounge. The vintage-inspired fine dresses and evening wear showed off the designer’s meticulously hand-beaded, embroidered and layered textures–a signature of Wong’s designs. Although details from her line are reminiscent of the twenties, thirties and forties, Wong combines a modern approach, creating works of art that are timeless.

TEKEEN was set to party with their ready-to-drink cocktail beverages flavored to ignite your palate. Their all-natural cocktails –cucumber, grapefruit and passion fruit lime–are proudly made in Texas!

Arbonne Essentials came armed with their anti-aging skincare, aromatherapy bath and body items, and plant-powered nutrition products. The company’s botanically-based ingredients are part of their mission to improve your life inside and out.

The Auto Gallery teased guests with their Maserati on display. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take one home, but the exotic luxury car dealer offered an ultra-soft fleece blanket, stylish hat and water tumbler for the taking.

Other hot items of the day included a signed copy of Debbi DiMaggio’s coffee table book, “Contained Beauty,” hair accessories from Twiistii, duffle bags from Guess, handmade purses from Timmy Woods, shea butter shampoo from Savannah Hair Therapy, faith-inspired jewelry from My Saint My Hero, 1940s and 50s vintage clothing from Roadkill Ranch & Boutique, Victorian and Renaissance clothing from Samiah, emergency canned drinking water from Blue Can, safe and water-resistant sun protector for your dog’s nose from My Dog Nose It, and body wash infused-sponges from Spongellé.

When you can’t beat the heat, sandals are best for your feet, and Telic footwear made sure guests left Bergman’s West Hollywood suite happy. Their ultra-light, waterproof and shock-absorbing sandals are made in the USA and machine washable, so your feet will be fired-up for walking. It’s no wonder they are the recipient of numerous awards for comfort. With a new body heat-activated material that conforms to your feet, Telic ensures that your hot walk home will be a comfy one.

(Bergman’s Sixth Annual Emmy Style Lounge & Party benefitted “Wednesday’s Child,” a weekly segment on FOX 11 News Los Angeles featuring harder to place children in the LA County foster care system who are in need of adoptive families).
