An Evening in Africa with WildAid

On Saturday, November 7, WildAid is bringing Africa to the Los Angeles area to celebrate their heroic work advocating for threatened and endangered wildlife and marine species who face extinction. The San Francisco-based wildlife organization has worked tirelessly for 15 years to stop the illegal trade, poaching, gaming and other inhumane activities that lions, tigers, elephants, rhinos, sharks, mantas and other marine species face. And their efforts continue, helping to reduce global consumption of wildlife products by educating consumers and working with law enforcement. Their upcoming gala, An Evening in Africa, takes place at the Montage Beverly Hills, and special guests include Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Michael Cudlitz, Bo Derek, John Corbett, Jayni and Chevy Chase and numerous other WildAid supporters.

Join WildAid and celebrity ambassadors at 6:00 pm for cocktails, dinner and entertainment. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind silent auction items including a stay with 10 of your closest friends at Kenya’s Ol Jogi Conservancy and limited-edition prints from beloved wildlife photographer Nick Brandt.

The evening’s live auction features an abundance of trips overseas. A Galapagos Islands Odyssey adventure from Galapagos Luxury Charters, Chilean Voyage with Nomads of the Seas, Costa Rican Getaway at The Springs Resort & Spa, and an exclusive experience at Misool Eco Resort in Indonesia are just a handful of the incredible excursions up for bid. If traveling abroad isn’t your thing, try dining with cast members from The Walking Dead, as WildAid is auctioning a dinner for six in Atlanta with three of the show’s leading actors.

While attending the upcoming gala will be an unforgettable night and a time to support a top-rated wildlife conservation group, it will also be an educational experience, learning about dangers that continue to face our wildlife friends, as well as a time to look back on the remarkable success that WildAid has achieved.
