Friends of Greystone Event

On Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 2:00 PM, the Friends of Greystone are delighted to present Award-Winning Cabaret Performer Michele Brourman. Spend the afternoon with Michele at the Historic Doheny Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills as she performs an array of original songs with her trademark humor, depth, honesty and elegance, her songs feel timeless and brand-new. Following Michele’s performance there will be a Meet and Greet among with a self-guided tour of the first floor of the Mansion.

Michele has been making up songs since she was three and by age thirteen had formed a small ensemble for which she was composer, musical director and singer. Her best-loved song, “My Favorite Year”, has been recorded by Michael Feinstein, Dame Cleo Laine, Margaret Whiting, Sheena Easton, Olivia Newton-John, Rita Coolidge and many others. She’s written and produced the songs for 18 animated feature films, including the beloved “Land Before Time” series. Her work has been featured in film and television, and she has written songs for a host of other framed performers, garnering numerous awards and critical acclaim.

Founded in 2001and comprised solely of volunteers, the Friends of Greystone is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to restore, preserve and protect Doheny Greystone Mansion and Park, owned by the City of Beverly Hills and considered to be among California’s most luxurious residences south of Hearst Castle. Included in our goals is to provide educational programs to students, residents of Beverly Hills, and the general public. All funds raised go exclusively to the benefit of Doheny Greystone Mansion and Park.

Tickets prices are $35 for FOG members and $45 for non-members.
