'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Cast Member Exits Show: 'It's Been A Wild Ride'
"You guys have cheered me on, supported me and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf," she said.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Garcelle Beauvais on Tuesday revealed she's leaving "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" after five seasons on the cast.
"So I have some news. I’ve decided to leave 'Beverly Hills,'" Beauvais said in an Instagram video. "It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride nevertheless."
Beauvais, who joined the series in 2020, said one of the reasons why she's leaving the show is her family, including her twin sons Jax Joseph and Jaid Thomas Nilon.

"Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that. And Jaid is starting a new (modeling) career and I want to be a part of that too. And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting in. I can’t tell you anything right now, but you’ll know soon," she said.
Beauvais' announcement comes about a month after the 14th season of "Real Housewives" wrapped filming. The finale is set to air Tuesday night. The season's reunion show, shot on Feb. 28, airs next week, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Beauvais was the series' first Black cast member. Her son Jax faced online harassment — including racist comments — several years ago in light of his mother's participation on the show, People reported.
“You guys have cheered me on, supported me and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf. It means a lot and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later — so see you later," Beauvais said.
