Gas Leak Closes Eastbound Wilshire Boulevard
A gas line leak has forced the closure of the eastbound lanes of Wilshire Boulevard throughout the morning rush hour.

A leak in a natural gas line today prompted closure of eastbound Wilshire Boulevard just east of Hancock Park while crews worked to handle the problem.
The leak was reported about 7 a.m. near the 5100 block of Wilshire Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The eastbound lanes were closed between La Brea and Highland avenues so the repairs could be made, the LAFD reported.
