Hunt On For Armed Robbery Suspect In Beverly Hills
The suspect was believed to be a man who fled the location on a blue and white bicycle, according to a police official.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Beverly Hills police led a massive search Thursday for an armed robbery suspect in a residential part of Beverly Hills.
The robbery was reported about 1 p.m. in the 900 block of North Alpine Drive, north of Sunset Boulevard, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Details about the robbery were not immediately available, but the suspect was believed to be a man who fled the location on a blue and white bicycle, heading west on Sunset Boulevard, according to BHPD Lt. Elisabeth Albanese.

He was recorded prior to the robbery as he rummaged through trash cans in an alley.
A witness reported seeing a large police presence, including SWAT officers, in the area following the robbery.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect – described as a Spanish speaker, about 26 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build and red flame tattoos on his right inner forearm – was urged to call police at (310) 550-4951. Anonymous tips can be submitted by texting "BEVHILLSPD" followed by the tip to 888777.
