Los Angeles, You Pay More Than Anybody for Concert Tickets
Ever spent a pretty penny on concert tickets and wondered how much your midwest friends were paying for the same seats?

LOS ANGELES, CA – Have you ever spent a pretty penny on concert tickets and wondered how much someone spent on the same seats in the midwest? Well, according to a study by Wanderu, going to a concert in Los Angeles will cost you 75 percent more than attending the same concert in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Now, the study looked at a few factors for the varying prices, including: venue fees, accommodation costs, purchasing power of the region, and public interest.
Wanderu is an app and website for travelers to find, compare and book bus and train tickets in North America and Europe – so naturally when travel planning, entertainment is a factor as well. Wanderu wanted to see how ticket costs shift from city to city, so they analyzed price points for a number of large-scale arena tours that took place in 2017, as well as some scheduled for 2018. They looked at some of the most popular artists, including tours featuring Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, and Kendrick Lamar.
Here are the top 10 most expensive concert ticket prices for large-scale arena shows in the United States:
