During one of her recent “Walks with the Mayor” through a Beverly Hills neighborhood, the Honorable Lili Bosse and about 60 “Healthy City” walkers made a 30-minute pit stop at The Watermark at Beverly Hills, 220 North Clark Drive. Residents and associates of the boutique assisted living community warmly welcomed the group and treated them to refreshing fruit smoothies and mini tours. Members of the group learned about some of the ways Watermark residents stay fit and healthy and were even able to observe a Sit and Be Fit class.
“We were ecstatic to host this energetic group, all decked out in their orange hats and t-shirts, and we certainly share their enthusiasm for healthy living,” said Patricia Murphy, Executive Director of The Watermark at Beverly Hills. Among its many amenities and services, The Watermark at Beverly Hills offers its own walking club along with nutritious, chef-prepared meals and a host of free classes for lifelong mind and body fitness.
Before she left, Mayor Bosse distributed from her bright orange sack a number of limited-edition, City of Beverly Hills Centennial pins to thank residents for being such a vital part of our healthy city.
