Is Meryl Streep’s ‘Florence Foster Jenkins’ Music To Our Ears?

Could this be Streep's next Best Actress Oscar? Patch movie critic Beau Behan reviews her new movie. [Video]

A view into one’s unbridled passion and ambition— this is a tale with three main ingredients: music, melody, and harmony.

It is the true story about Florence Foster Jenkins (Meryl Streep), a 1940s New York socialite, aspiring to become an opera singer despite lacking the gravitas, but undeterred because of her love for music.

Directed by Stephen Frears (“Philomena”), the movie also stars Hugh Grant as Jenkin’s husband, and Simon Helberg as her pianist.
