'No One Could Have Defended Bill Cosby,' Robert Shapiro Says
Shapiro, a member of O.J. Simpson's legal team, made the comment as he was leaving a Beverly Hills restaurant.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Robert Shapiro, a member of O.J. Simpson's legal team that secured an acquittal during his 1995 double-murder trial, said that no one could have successfully defended Bill Cosby, in remarks reported Friday. Shapiro made the comment to the celebrity news website TMZ.com as he left Avra restaurant in Beverly Hills Thursday night, TMZ reported.
Shapiro also said it was stupid for Cosby to go after the prosecutor after the verdict since the judge has yet to pronounce sentence. The attorney said the most stunning aspect of the verdict is that it's a testament to the power of the #MeToo movement.
