Purpose + Passion=Excellence Worth Celebrating

Vista Del Mar honors six exceptional people whose generosity has enhanced the lives of L.A. children & families most in need.

(Los Angeles, CA, March 2019) Merriam-Webster dictionary defines Excellence as, “the quality of being outstanding”. Booker T. Washington writes that, “Excellence is to do a common thing in an uncommon way.”

This year’s Women of Excellence honorees are remarkable people fueled by a sense of purpose, passion, compassion, and devotion to tireless advocacy. Vista’s 2019 Ruth Shuken Humanitarian Award recipients include: Jackie Dubin, Inez Gelfand, Gail Hershowitz, Ruthe Newmann and for the first-time an excellent man… Irv Cooper. The esteemed Visionary Award recipient is Linda Greller.

Friends, family and Vista leadership will celebrate each on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 11:30 am, at the Beverly Wilshire (a Four Seasons Hotel), located at 9500 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
