Review: Does ‘The Light Between Oceans’ Glow Brightly?

"The Light Between Oceans" video review by Patch Movie Critic Beau Behan.

“The Light Between Oceans” is a sweeping romantic drama— emotionally charged—a true dark narrative with an agonizing pain.

Written and directed by Derek Cianfrance, it is a film adaptation of M.L. Stedman’s best-selling novel of the same name.

It portrays the love story of a married couple (Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander) living off the coast of Western Australia. Together, they decide to raise a baby whom they discovered adrift in a boat.
