'Teen Mom' Farrah Abraham Facing Jail After Beverly Hills Fracas

One-time reality-TV star was arrested on battery, related charges after scuffling with Beverly Hills Hotel security, who asked her to leave

LOS ANGELES, CA – Former reality television "Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham is facing the possibility of jail time if convicted of charges that she hit a security guard and resisted arrest when asked to leave the Beverly Hills Hotel last month.

The 27-year-old defendant is be arraigned Aug. 13 at the Airport Branch Courthouse on one misdemeanor count each of battery and resisting an officer, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.

If convicted on both counts, which were filed Friday, Abraham faces up to 18 months in jail.

Officers went to the hotel in the 9600 block of Sunset Boulevard about 1:20 a.m. June 13 on a report that Abraham was arguing with hotel guests and had been asked to leave by hotel security, according to Beverly Hills police.

"The security officer reported that Abraham struck him in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed him in the face as he attempted to prevent her from re-entering the hotel," Beverly Hills police Lt. Elisabeth Albanese said at the time. "Officers noted that Abraham exhibited signs of intoxication."

The security officer suffered a minor injury, Albanese said.

According to TMZ.com, the former "Teen Mom" star "was heard playing the 'I'm a celebrity' card -- yelling things like ... you should know who I am."'
