Woman, Dog Killed At Beverly Grove Home: Reports

LOS ANGELES — A woman and a dog were shot and killed over the weekend in connection with a domestic dispute in Beverly Grove, according to reports.

Police responded around 8:30 a.m. Sunday to a shooting at a home in the area of La Peer Drive and Third Street, KTLA reported.

Officers found a woman in her 40s who was suffering from a gunshot wound, according to NBC 4 Los Angeles, which reported that the woman was taken to a hospital but later died. The dog was discovered dead in the home, KTLA reported.

A person in their 30s was detained by police at the scene, according to NBC 4.
