Alanis Morissette's Brentwood Home Burglarized
Burglars made off with about $2 million in jewelry from singer Alanis Morissette's Brentwood home, according to TMZ.
BRENTWOOD, CA - Burglars made off with about $2 million in jewelry from singer Alanis Morissette's Brentwood home, it was reported Tuesday.
The crime occurred last Thursday, according to TMZ.com. Police could not immediately confirm the report.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Morissette was not at home when the break-in occurred.

It was unclear if the suspects got away with anything other than jewelry.
Tuesday marked the second time this month that Morissette has been at the center of a crime story.

On Feb. 2, her former business manager, who worked for other entertainment and sports figures, pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $6.5 million from his clients.
Jonathan Todd Schwartz, 48, entered his plea to federal wire and tax fraud charges for failing to disclose the embezzled funds to the Internal Revenue Service. He'll be sentenced on May 3, and faces a prison term between four and six years, according to his plea agreement.
He acknowledged that between May 2010 and January 2014, he withdrew about $4.8 million belonging to Morissette without her knowledge or authorization.
