Byuti Salon in Brentwood announced an inaugural contest to honor teachers.  All teachers in Los Angeles county schools qualify for a chance to win the Give Goodness Award and a year of hair pampering services.

Ten teachers from ten different schools in Los Angeles County will be awarded complete hair cut and color services. One deserving area educator will be selected to win one year of free salon services from the luxury salon Byuti.

To qualify for the Give Goodness Award, teachers must be nominated via Byuti’s Facebook page by answering the question: how does your teacher give goodness to your class, students or community, before April 30, 2013. Teachers may be nominated, or nominate themselves. Once the nomination period has ended, staff at Byuti Salon will select ten teachers from ten different schools to participate in a Night of Byuti makeover.  

The Night of Byuti will take place on Teacher Appreciation Day, May 7 to honor nominated teachers with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a night of pampering services.
