Brentwood Presbyterian Church Hosts World Premiere of 'The Requiem'

Maundy Thursday Service will include the world premiere of
The Requiem, by Nancy Reeves. Holy Communion will be served and we will hear a message about Jesus beautiful teaching in the upper room. The Requiem is a musical setting of various text from the Mass. This Requiem is sung in both English and Latin. As we contemplate Jesus’ journey from Jerusalem to the cross, the tone of the Requiem is one of hope as it approaches death as both a mournful and beautiful passing into the eternal life promised to us by God.
